Production of car wash equipment

Windtrax is the Car Wash Store. We sell car wash parts, car wash supplies and car wash equipment. Many of you know that Windtrax manufactures our own line of top quality car wash equipment. We manufacture reverse osmosis water systems, stainless steel tanks and stands, pump stations, wall units and prep stations. Any of these can be customized to customers specifications. The Windtrax wands and booms that we sell are also made right here.

Technical Assistance

Technical questions sent to Windtrax through email or phoned in are referred to the service department. For any questions regarding selection of pulleys or pumps or regulators, why the reverse osmosis membrane wears out prematurely or the correct configuration of that spot-free manifold, how to wire up the vacuum timer or the coin acceptor or any other technical related question. The service department routinely handles questions like these.

Pump Service

Part of the work done by the service department is service and rebuilding pumps. The majority of the pumps that we service are shipped in. Pumps are inspected and evaluated to see if service is cost effective.

Pump Inspection Charges
8 gpm and under - $20.00
9 gpm and over - $40.00

Includes:
Drain oil From pump and visual inspection including;

• Inspect head for washout
• Check valves in head
• Inspect sleeves & cylinders for damage
• Inspect seals and seal cases
• Check entire crankcase - crankshaft, connecting rods, bearings and oil seals

*Rate based on bare pump. Additional charges will apply if plumbing and hardware
must be removed.
*Repair prices are separate from inspection charges. The price of repair is based on the visual inspection.
*Inspection charges will be credited if repairs are made.
*Charged are made when the pump is received, not when it is shipped back.
*We will not reassemble your pump if you elect not to have repairs done by us.

A service that we offer for Cat Pumps customers is stainless steel inserts to repair head wash out for the high pressure seals and valves. This is available only for Cat Pumps heads.

Welding

All of the welds on Windtrax line of car wash equipment is done by the in-house welding shop. Stainless steel tanks, stands, safes, coinboxes, booms and numerous things. In addition to manufacturing, the welder also fabricates equipment. When a tank stand must be made for a certain space, the welder makes the changes that get the right fit.

Local Outside Service

Not only does Windtrax sell car wash supplies, car wash parts and car wash equipment we also install and service equipment on a local level. Much of the experience that the service department gets is by actually installing car washes and working on car wash equipment in the field. You can be assured that what one of our technicians tells you is based on real-world hands-on work.
