Windtrax Freight Policy
  1. Most orders are shipped UPS Ground unless otherwise specified. FedEx delivery is available upon request. Some boxes exceeding 65 pounds may be shipped UPS Ground or common carrier, whichever is best to avoid damage to contents.
  2. Inspect your packages upon delivery and notify delivery agent
    before they leave your site.
  3. Freight charges are the responsibility of the customer and will be added to all orders.
  4. Redirected shipments to a different address may result in added charges.
  5. Shipper adds a surcharge per package for residential delivery.
  6. Shipper charges $5.00 extra handling for pails and reels.
  7. Express Freight charges are not refundable.
  8. All orders are shipped F.O.B. Windtrax unless specified differently. Claims are the responsibility of the carrier.
  9. Reshipments due to errors will be shipped UPS Ground only.
  10. UPS Ground fees are subject to change without notice.
  11. Any quote of freight charges by a sales person is an estimate only and my vary at time of delivery.

Top Ways To Reduce Your Shipping Cost

#10. Chemical Pails - pails of soap or other chemical can be ordered in a quantity of 5 or more and shipped via truck lines to eliminate the additional handling charges.

#9. Hose on Reels - reels of hose can be included with a larger shipment to be over two hundred pounds and get the hundred weight rate.

#8. Set Up An Account - eliminate additional COD charges by having an account with us. Pay for your order with credit card or have us hold your order and contact you with the total of the order and send us a check.

#7. Order A Spare - keep spare parts on hand for emergencies to avoid costly air shipping.

#6. Use A Commercial Address - shipping to a residence costs more, have the shipment made to a business address and save.

#5. Consolidate Orders - combine small orders into one larger order, don't get in a hurry and have to make 2 or 3 orders in the same day. Many small orders cost more than one large order.

#4. Specify Back Orders - so as not to have a string of back orders shipping over a length of time, request that the order ship complete to get all of the order at one time. If part of the order is needed right away and cannot wait for the back ordered portion specify to ship all back order complete.
